General Tips

Following are some hints for Casper: The Interactive Adventure

Hint 1: Don't worry about saving the game. Casper will ask you if you want to save when you quit.

Hint 2: Check the camera everywhere you go. You never know where ghost might show up.

Hint 3: Remember to check the Photo Album. Clicking on the pictures of the ghosts will often give you helpful clues.

Hint 4: If you get stuck, try using each of the items in your backpack. With the exception of the color-coded keys, it is possible to use items that don't seem sensible.

Walk-Through

Optimum path to finish the adventure

Go DOWN means go backward, or click when the finger is pointing DOWN.
Go LEFT means click when the finger is pointing LEFT.
Go RIGHT means click when the finger is pointing RIGHT.
USE means go to the backpack and click on the item, then click on the spinning ITEM you selected.
LOOK means click when you see the MAGNIFYING GLASS.

After entering the Manor, you will find Casper floating in the main foyer. From this screen, travel the following path:

Foyer	Go to the LEFT.
Foyer outside of library	Go through doors.
Library	Look at bookcase.
Bookcase	Pick up RED KEY. Go DOWN.
Library	Go to the RIGHT.
Library	Take PICTURE of ghost. Go through doors.
Foyer outside of Library	Go to the LOWER RIGHT, not up the stairs.
Foyer	Take the RIGHT side hallway.
Right Hallway	Go RIGHT through the door.
Basement Stairs	Go down them.
Basement	Pick Up VACUUM. Go to the RIGHT.
Basement (furnace)	Pick Up BROOM. Go DOWN.
Basement	Go UP the stairs.
Basement Stairs	Go UP the stairs
Right Hall, towards Foyer	Go STRAIGHT.
Sitting Area	Go DOWN.
Foyer	Take the CENTER Hallway.
Center Hallway	Use RED KEY in door on RIGHT.
Hallway to Patio Doors	Go STRAIGHT through doors.
Patio	Go to the LEFT.
Outside	Go to the LEFT.
Tool Shed	Pick Up LADDER and take PICTURE of Ghost. Go DOWN.
Outside	Go to the RIGHT.
Patio	Go to the RIGHT.
Outside under Tree House	Go STRAIGHT.
Well and Crowbar	Go STRAIGHT.
Well and Crowbar Close-up	Pick up CROWBAR. Go DOWN.
Outside under Tree House	Go to the LEFT.
Outside under Tree House	Sitting in Wagon- Use LADDER.
Inside the Tree House	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Use CROWBAR.
Sitting on Tree Limb	Go UP.
Sitting in Tree near Roof	Go UP.
Umbrella in Foreground	Pick Up UMBRELLA. Go STRAIGHT.
Next to Chimney	Use BROOM.
Two Chairs and a Lamp	Go STRAIGHT.
Bedroom	Go to the LEFT.
Bedroom Fireplace	Pick up BUCKET. Go to the RIGHT.
Bedroom	Go through the door.
Top of Stairs/Fatso	Use VACUUM. Go to the LEFT.
Uncles Bedroom	Pick up FAN. Go to the RIGHT.
Top of Stairs/Fatso	Go STRAIGHT.
Casper's Bedroom	Go DOWN.
Casper's Bedroom (bed)	Pick up BALLOON. Go through closed door.
Casper's Bathroom	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Go DOWN.
Casper's Bathroom (Toilet)	Pick up PLUNGER. Go STRAIGHT.
Casper's Bedroom	Go through the Open Door.
Top of Stairs/Fatso	Go STRAIGHT.
Foyer	Take the CENTER Hallway.
Center Hallway	Use RED KEY in door on RIGHT.
Hallway to Patio Doors	Go STRAIGHT through the Doors.
Patio	Go to the RIGHT.
Outside under Tree House	Go STRAIGHT.
Well and Crowbar	Go STRAIGHT.
Close-up of Well	Use the BUCKET.
Cave	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Pick up GREEN KEY. Use BUCKET.
Close-up of Well	Go STRAIGHT.
Front Porch Door on Left	Go to the LEFT.
Front Doors	Go STRAIGHT.
Foyer	Use BALLOON.
Foyer Balcony	Go DOWN.
Hallway to Clock	Go STRAIGHT.
Grandfather Clock	Click on the CLOCKFACE.
Close-up of Clockface	Click on MINUTE HAND (hold down) until 11:15. Do not go past 11:15, or the game may lock up or freeze!
Library/Casper in chair	Pick up SCROLL. Go DOWN.
Library Balcony	Go to the LEFT.
Hallway to Clock	Go DOWN.
Hall (Circular Staircase)	Use PLUNGER if Stretch is there. Go LEFT.
Table (Candles and Perfume)	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Use FAN. Pick up PERFUME BOTTLE. Go DOWN.
Casper Playing Piano	Pick Up SHEET MUSIC. Go through DOOR.
Hall (Circular Staircase)	Go STRAIGHT.
Attic	Go STRAIGHT.
Toy Room	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Pick up ROCKET. Go DOWN.
Toy Room Facing Door	Go STRAIGHT.
Attic	Go down stairs.
Hallway Looking to Clock	Go STRAIGHT.
Hallway to Clock	Go to the LEFT.
Foyer Balcony	Use UMBRELLA.
Foyer	Go UP Right Side Staircase.
Top of Stairs/Fatso	Go STRAIGHT.
Casper's Bedroom	Use ROCKET.
Lighthouse facing Moon	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Go DOWN.
Lighthouse facing Manor	Pick up BLUE KEY. Use ROCKET.
Close-up of Well	Go STRAIGHT.
Front Porch Door on Left	Go to the LEFT.
Front Doors	Go STRAIGHT.
Foyer	Take the Left Side Hallway.
Left Hallway	Go to the RIGHT.
Left Hall with Door on Right	Use BLUE KEY.
Game Room/Card Table	Go DOWN.
Game Room/Pool Table	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Go through Door.
Left Hallway facing Door	Go to the LEFT.
Sitting Area	Go DOWN.
Foyer	Take the Center Hallway.
Center Hallway	Go DOWN.
Center Hallway facing Foyer	Use GREEN KEY.
Parlor Facing Organ	Take PICTURE of Ghost. Click on Organ.
When at the Organ	Click on Sheet Music, and then REPEAT the sequence played on the keyboard to continue.
Elevator on the Right	Click on the Elevator BUTTON.
Inside the Elevator	Will take you to a room.
Gallery/Stinky	Use PERFUME BOTTLE. Click on Empty Picture Frames.
Looking at Picture Frames	DRAG and DROP Photos from Film Strip to the appropriate Frames.

THE END. Click on Center of Screen or Press ESC.
