Gruntys and food

I've been trying to grow a decent grunty but all i seem to be getting is either the "mon ami" grunty or the steel grunty. i've been feeding it everything it asked for once it started making sense, but nooooooooooo...

Has anyone figured out how the whole "grows next to a <insert vague desctription of place here>" works??

Actually, is there even a way to see if u've fed it the right food except spending all your grunty food just to see it fly into the sky?

I've raised two gruntys so far: One being a Noble grunty and the other being a Poison grunty.
Theres a little info here on how to get certain Grunty's but not much http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/hack_extras.txt .
Hope this helps.
And BTW you get White Cherrys from Water Plain locations, more specifically snowy areas.

okz, here's some stuff i found in another forum about the vague stuff small gruntys say...

"they grow deep in the green forest" Piney Apple
"They grow in the shadow of mushroom boulders" mushrooms
"they grow near a pointy tower" Mandragora
"They grow by a really old weird weapon" Twilight Onion
"they grow by a barnacle" Oh No Melon (ha!! ONM's kick all ass!)
"they grow by a big cocoon" La Pumpkin
"they grow in a very dark labyrinth" Immature Egg
"they grow in a very fancy gallery" Bear Cat Egg
"they grow in a very deep cave" Invisible Egg.

That's all the guy had found, some of those i had figured myself.. havent tried any of it yet, i will in 1,5 hr though :D

to get snakey cactuses you have to enter a keyword were the c part ends with fiery sands

I dunno..i kept on getting the Noble grunty, then the Iron, then Poison, JUST THREE? ¬_¬
N E ways, theres more in further parts (.Hack//Mutation)

Feed what the Grunty wants, if it wants Golden eggs at the end it will change to iron grunty, it will want a lot of golden eggs :P

Most og the time i get Noble crap..
