I'm up to this thing with the red cross and i still cant kill it!
i'm at lvl 31 with BlackRose and Mistral at lvl 30

It is hard..any tips of how to kill it? I smacked it a lot of times and it still has'nt lost its barrier thing... :(
i keep dying and i think i keep on training..
BTW..is this the final bit?

your level is pretty ok for that encounter, you may need better items though, and many many healing potions, ressurrect and other stuff. the fight is long and hard but you can do it.

i gave each member abour 30 - 40 healing drinks each, and set them to "first aid" and i just pretty much attacked it, healed every so often and ressurected people when they died, with a few skills thrown in for good measure, one thing that bothers me is that he data drained natsume twice and she didnt go into a coma.. but orca did...

the problem isn't being data drain that dosn't realy harm you (it adds all skills down tho) so u need antidote and restorations to neutrals data drain,going in a coma is coused by dieing fully to a monster that can't be killed, oversly if u die its game over (dieing full & going in a coma) :P or it could just mean u have to log back in ;) nifty hu ?

i was the only party member to die to skeith beacuse i was the one taking most dmg and healing every 1, wouldn't say i had the best armor but i did buff all my team up before i went to fight skeith

i've done it! well first i found a lower lvl weapon. Master??? (blades??) well it was kinda better than the danté one.
Skeith was so hard..i nearly lost to it again and again... i did'nt know it was some rock..lol He used Data Drain on my partners and it did'nt knock them in a coma.. guess its like that..

Give or take some equipment, it should work, wonder what happens after......

naa u just need to go complete a few dungys u will easly get nice items, also give items to your party members or they will always have crapy items :P

i just got up to the bit where u have to kill the big thing with the red wand i havnt even got to it yet.

First of all you can edit your posts by pressing the "edit" button on the right of your message. That way you don't have to make three posts but put it in one.

To answer your questions:

- I think you should level up to about level 30. Maybe you can kill it at level 25, but I highly doubt it. So you should level up a bit first.
- Some of the mails of Aura have been translated on this forum. If I find them I will let it know.
- You should use the strongest weapons you have, or the weapons you like best because of the skills. So it depends on the weapons you have and the skills you like best.

Killed him at a party of Gardenia, BlackRose and me, with the Hell's Gates, it was easy THEN, but it was hard like 2 levels ago !

i tried the party izzy mentioned before i logged in... as izzy has probably foun out so far, it doesnt work. crap, i just couldnt give up on mistral, she's SO cute.

What i did to beat that Skeith sob was form a party of 29-lvl kite, blackrose and piros! yes, i know he's annoying, but he was proven of valuable help. by the time we got to skeith we were all lvl 31, and piros had 800 HP. kite had dantes blades, piros had master's axe and blackrose had a l33t blade whose name i forget :)
stacked them up with resurrect and healing potions, and the result was satisfactory!! 2 resurrects used, 5 health drinks and 7 health potions. Oh, and party status was set to "use skills!".

Imho, it's all about endurance, as skeith doesnt seem to be bothered by magic that much... it's more like Last Man Standing... now we have to see what lies ahead... i still got some time till payday so i cant buy a copy of the 2nd part yet, i'll just boost my charactes a bit :D

does anyone know if i can save my progress on the dataflag slot? i mean, without overwriting the data flag?

I defeated that mon with the red wand with 6 tries at level 30 it was an hard and long battle got only 1 hp left

Another way to keep yourself busy after the game is to try and find as many rare weapons/items by Data Draining strong enemies, and completing the Ryu Books if you haven't done that yet. Or raise grunty's :D

but seriously i usually cast Ap Dou or use speed charm and run round them in circles so their attacks miss and i get a quick and fatal shot in
