need help

i need help with the game .hack infaction.
I must kill a monster with a bug, but i cant use the skill who i can kill it. I hope someone can help me =)

Ich komme in .hack infaction nicht mehr weiter.
Ich muss ein monster das einen bug besitzt killen, aber ich kann nicht den skill benutzen um ihn zu killen.
Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen.

which monster are you trying to kill?

Some monsters are undefeatable unless you data drain them...
Keep hitting him until you see Protect Break message... then, just [ ], skills, R1 until you find Data Drain, choose enemy and voila... the big monster becomes a little monster...

It is possible that you get "infected", ie, get a status (poison, etc).

Hit him a fair few times. Maybe use stacatto on him until he uses Protect Break then use Data Drain on him.
He doesn't use Protect Break until you weaken him sufficiently.

Can i attack him with magic?
Or i should only attack him with hits?

It doesn't matter...just weaken him sufficiently and then Data Drain. :D Let me know how you get on :D
