Hey all, i just got the game today, and all ive been able to do is watch the intro, input my name and read all the mail and board stuff!...i know crap, i been busy though, ive got 2 weeks off school though so.....HACK FEST!!!!

anyways yeah so, erm i just wanna talk to ya'll and find out more about the game...i know all the other stuff like the Manga, Dvd and the Episodes...but i just hav'nt seen em, and i hav'nt got far in the Game...so yeah...post away!:D

Its an great game i played it 2 days now and stills enjoyed it the anime was cool too!!!!

hey im a newb too i just recently got the game...
i have just recently got ffx-2 aswell :D
my 2 weeks of holidays r going great i got 3 wicked games to play hack, x-2, and warcraft iii, i play wc3 online so it makes it abit better but i need help in the game :rolleyes:

I am at the bit where elk wants to ask u for the braclet and we must go to the dungeon and then that big infected snake comes along i died rite there..... i couldnt even break that armor of his using data drain, i wanna know what level i should go and fight him at.... plz help me

im so puzzeld i mean i dont know nothing about hack except that theres a anime series which i dont know where to get from if u can tell me that'l be great and some comic book to it
i dont know nothing, the game looked cool so i got it and it really is cool but could some one tell me where to find the anime series i mean people say there is 26 episodes but i dont know where to get from i aint allowed to get from online shops but can i get any where form like say virgin megastores or places like that???

i'm a bit puzzled about it myself... i got a dvd with my game, but i havent watched it yet... maybe this is it? something like giving a few episodes with every game? i dont really know...
The manga kicks ass though :) i've been reading it for some time now and i didnt know it was out as a game... i only saw it when i bought my ps2 console, 5 days ago...
was it just me or was the game too easy? i cleared it in 3 days.. no mean to brag, it's just that i'm new to the whole ps2 thing and i have no idea how long ps2 games take to clear.. if it were a pc game i'd definitely be nowhere near clearing that!! also, what's with the japanese voiceover thingy? i switched it to japanese, but the dialogues are still in english!

You do realise that .hack infection is the first volume of the 4 volume series right?

It's like this:

- There's a serie of 26 episodes, .hack//sign.
- There are in total 4 games, of which infection is the first. The others will be released this year.
- The DVD that comes with the game is called an OVA. It's an anime of about 40 minutes that shows the events that happen at the same time as the game, but only in the real world.
- Then there's also a serie (.hack//dusk), but I don't really know much about this one.

The basic plots behind Hack are-

- series of 26 episodes, .hack//sign. this has two bonus episodes taking place just after this and another bonus disk taking place after the games and .hack//Liminality.
- There are in total 4 games, of which infection is the first. The others (mutation, outbreak and quarentine) will be released this year.
- The DVD that comes with the game is called an OVA. It's an anime of about 40 minutes that shows the events that happen at the same time as the game, but only in the real world.
- Then there's another a series (.hack//dusk), this is a continuation of the games, about two new players in "the world" (Shugo and Rena) who recive the Kite and Black Rose Avatars as prizes in a competition.
