I've got to agree with aqua and page, after watching anime cartoons are just rubbish, the people are so flat and anoying... But that could just be because cartoons have never been that interesting for me, except wacky races, that was just great... I see a couple of bits of Monkey Dust everynow and again. I keep forgetting when it's on and end up catching the last five minutes! It is a great show, just like it's name!
I like Fairly Odd Parents, as I return swiftly to the topic. I try to catch it after a heavy anime session after all, it's a health risk to watch a load of Gundam or Neon Genisis Evangelon without watching something comedic afterwards. Why? Your brain gets so full of the serious dramaness it could shut down and you'll act like Heero from Gundam Wing for the rest of your life!! So I'll watch Fairly Odd Parents until I manage to get the cash to buy all of the different DVDs of Excel Saga. Then may the weirdness wash the Heero-ness from my all ready fragile brain!!!!!

Excel Saga is something that everyone should watch at least once. ^^
I finally got 'round to watching Puni Puni Poemi (which is directed by the same guys responsible for Excel) yesterday, and that is one of the craziest things i've seen in a while.

Deffiantley save the money for Excel Saga, best thing Ive ever seen, so funny... so so funny... And I even get to anoy my friends with the fact I own it, which is always a bonus! But get any (but preferably all in order) of the Excel Saga dvds, theyre great! Id tell you some of the funny things, but I wouldn't want to spoil it, and aqua can probly do it better!

it all depends on the voice actors, and your own personal preference, usually i prefer the english dub, but with excel saga, its usually the japanese version, except episode 24/25.

I thought Excel's English dub was really good. Some voices were actually better than their Japanese counterparts.

sure the voice acting is good in the excel saga, just its excel's voice changing half way through is a little disappointing, Larrisa Wolcott tries to do a good excel, but doesn't quite manage to pull it off except in episodes 24 and 25.

it is kinda bad, that it takes so long for anime dvds to find their way over, surely considering they don't have to have an english dub - or it already has one from the american version it wouldn't take that long for an uk release, but then we always have to wait ages for everything like movies, games, its just not right!

one reason is that we are a small country, and things like anime, computers games etc, are a minority thing, (even though its still a big minority) they don't view it as essential to release things quickly - also they are probably a little lazy too cos they know they'll make more profit from Japan and America.

Grrrrrr, I hate that, we still make them a profit! It might not be quite as big but still! It is quite anoying, in america they've already got all 4 .hack games released and infection is only $20! (Thats about £15)
