Fan Fiction

Out of curiosity, has anyone writen or know anyone who has written any .Hack fan fiction? It seems as though that .Hack is one of those things that are quite easy to write about.

I'm actually better at writing FanFic than my own fiction! When i'm writing my own work a short peice can take months whilst longer work.....I've not finished any so I can't judge the time it takes me to finish them! However, I can write a decent length and decent quality fanfic in less than 24 hours. I guess i'm a little odd.

lol yea maybe but its good if u want to write a fan fic about an obscur anime which no one has heard of, lol, and then use it for an piece of course work, lol.

Yeah well.
I've thought about making a little story, but my problem is that i really don't know all the areas in "The World". Therefore it'd be hard for me to write one unless i "make" a new server.

i've written fanfics of other animes such as weiss kreuz and books such as harry potter but not .hack. i'm not quite familiar with all the characters and the only plot that i can remember was that of sign ang legend of the twilight.

lol knowing the characters isn't the prob, the prob is know your main character, as normally a fan fic dosn't focus on a pre-made one, its also about the underlying re-lationships lol.

its V complicated in the V end but other wise its V easy

I think it's a bit hard to write a fan fiction to .hack, cause .hack is a complicated issue. There is very many things to consider when writing it. You could almost say that .hack//SIGN-Intermezzo is a kind of fan fiction, bacause it doesn't have anything to do with the original story.
But still, there are some great young writers out there in the world that can make a really good story though ;)

Considering teh ammount of stuff know of in the World you could go rather crazy in your fanfic..hmm might be something to try when the bordom gets too much.. :)

I've now had an idea for a .Hack fan-fic. Sadly it'll have to take the backseat whilst I work on Lost Infinte but i'll get to it someday!

Stop googling Art Wolf! Lost Infinite is my main writing project at the moment. All about a teenage girl who gets sucked into a demon world from our world by a rip in the barrier that separates them. In my sig I have a little update thing about how work is coming along on both Lost Infinite and it's Prolouge.

Hmm well I guess not if its to be like a good book - you finish off the book and then play out one or two main points that only may reveal themselves more fully in later time.

Actually it's just because I forgot about the prologue entirely! At least the main story is started now, I can worry about the prologue laters.

i always do writing during the summer

I write all year round but summer seems to be when I reach my peak writing time. Kinda weird, huh?
Oh, and Page, if I want to be positive I will be but not when I write. It generally ends up really bad so i'm bracing myself for the worst. I do the same thing when I go for an audition for a role in a theatrical production, I be really pessimistic so if the worst happens I can deal with it.

i have about fifty... i usually get to about twenty or fifty pages before getting bored
and starting a new storyline...

heh - that may be why i never finish them... lol

I have 15 stored, not counting notes on them....I just don't have the same motivation once I get mid way through than I did at the start, or I write myself into dead ends. The thing is, I can write FF in a day but my own fiction can take months(one of the few peices I completed took over 7 months to finish). Does anyone else have this...erm...pattern? Or should that be writing style?.....You get the point.

That's better. I write lyrics too! They're crap though. A note on FF, i've started writing a .Hack FF! It hasn't got a title yet but hey, i'm writing. Here is a prologue, recap thingy:

‘It has been 2 years since Kite and BlackRose destroyed the virus. The World continues on making and breaking future legendary players. Those involved in helping Kite along the way have taken new paths. Natsume is now an event planner and all round overseer of The World. Gardenia has formed her own group of gifted players who watch for signs of the virus returning, called the White Guardians. Mistral is Natsume’s partner but also has the responsibility of handing out prize items and keeping check on the shop front. Elk has become the Newbie’s guardian, whilst Mia has only been glimpsed here and there. Kite and BlackRose, although offered high-ranking jobs in The World by CC Corporation, have continued playing as normal. Players have started calling the pair Kite of the Twilight Bracelet and BlackRose of the Twilight Sword. It has been 2 years since all areas of The World have been cleared for play. Now is the year of the Great Parting.’

It's not the best but it's something, which is better than nothing, right?
