Final Fantasy Pronunciations

Ok, this is a topic I have spent hours debating with friends ...

How do you say Sephiroth correctly? Or Chocobo? Or Tidus? There are loads more besides those, but these are my personnal favourites :D

Sephiroth - I say 'Se-Fer-Oth'
- Dumbass friend 'Sep-Ir-Oth'

Chocobo - I say 'Choc-A-bo'
-Dumbass friend 'Choco-Boco'
-On FFX 'Choc-Ow-Bo'

Tidus - Everyone says 'Ty-Dus'
-FFX making of DVD 'Tee-Dus'

Tidus - i say says 'Tide-us'

Tidus - I know it's supposed to be pronounced 'Tee-dus', but I still say 'Ty-dus'

Also, I used to know someone who pronounced Seifer (FF8) as 'Sef-her', even though i'm sure it's supposed to be pronounced the same way as 'cypher'

well if you listen to One Winged Angel they say Sephiroth's name and they say it the way its spelled:
Se-phi-roth

as for tidus:
Ty-dus

chocobo:
cho-co-bo

you say the O on the first and third O

so its more like Chow-ca-Bow or thats how the debates with my friends ended up...
