How do ya'll i be tony, been watin for hack to come to england for ages! but final fantasy x-2, dark chronicle and kingdom hearts has kept me occupied, its all good :D

the storyline is a bit confusin ??? a game within a game within a game but sounds funky
so can someone tell me wat the battle system is like is it the tradisional turn based battle like final fantasys or just real time like kingdom heart ?

welcome to the boards! :)

its pretty easy to understand if youve played an online game before. When you start the game you see your desktop, which looks pretty much like windows. You can check mail, visit BBS, change the background, etc. And you can play the _real_ game The World, of course. So its a game within a game^^

The battle system is very much like Kingdom Hearts, just a bit less action IMO, and you dont have to be really dexterious to survive.

Nope. Just charge at 'em and smash 'em to tiny little pieces then pick up the pieces and eat 'em and then throw 'em back up and launch 'em off a cliff!! It's all good stuff. And I love it :D
Which is weird because in other games I am ALOT more causcious (prolly spelt wrong :S). Like an assassin or a sniper etc
But hey, I'm a freak... :D ;) Muahahahahahahahaha

Ouch that hurt my throat laughing like that...oh well back to TTA and .hack!! I play them simultaneously!! I'm multi talented you see :D Umm...at school they call me 'special' :P

Mai Minase is cool to...when it first loaded it was in Japanese and I was like :O NOOOOOOOO! Then I adjusted the options to English :P I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSS!

I got the game last friday (when was released in portugal) and I've played like 4 hours... I bought FFX 2 months ago and was playing, but stopped...


.hack is way more fun... and you don't have to look at the tv for like 10 min to just watch FMV's...


It is very fast (in my first battles I just keep tapping on th X button)... gotta learn how to battle ;)

Hehe yeah I was once like that! It's a bitch when you charge at the golden orb thing (predicting a battle and therefor rappidly tapping (X)) to find it's a booby trapped chest. Without realising you have opened it and bang! Off goes the trap >< . I have done that a few times :S . Now I open the portal from a distance and then press [] and instruct my party members which enemy to go for etc etc. It becomes more of an art in the later stages :D

Did you know that the other party members raise lvl too when your playin' solo? this getting good..
