confused after watching hack//sign 1-26

i've watched .hack//sign and am kinda confused about it.

how come people where called diff names in the version that i watched(Jap with Eng Subs)

ie. Alba not Helba
Zea not Tsukasa (however u spell it)
Ella not Aura

please help?

2. also another question the catface person Maho (if that is right) who was that, was that an actual player in the game 'the world'

3. and also that voice that Zea (''tsukasa'') hears people r calling morgana who is that?

4.and also who was that bloke hanging upside down, how did he fit in?


5. also how did Aura fit into this.?

so do i need to watch ep 27 now intermezzo (has this a lot to do with sign or is it a seperate ep)

i heard about an episode re-running through the sign stroy what is this?

the 2 bonus eps that come on the us dvd vol 6 terminus,

i get that intermezzo is a story about bear and mimiru when they were novices earlier on in the game.

it also includes unison, which i have read and been told i need to watch after the game + liminality

but some people talk of an ep called evidence is this another name for unison?

because you have either Hongkong dvd bootlegs or bad fansubs.

you need to play the games, they continue the story and answer all your question.

to 4: watch .hack//LIMINALITY

Intermezzo is just some kind of additional shortstory, its not really a part of the SIGN story.
IIRC theres just one rerun episode and thats episode 14 or 15.
Evidence is a standard //SIGN episode IIRC.

that got the hongkong version.
I feel sorry for you cuz to understand most of the anime even though you haven't seen liminality or played the games you need to learn japanese really good or need to get a good translation^^meaning sub.

In my versions (the dvds and fansubs) the names are correct. Helba is not Alba or Tsukasa is not Zea and you get to know what the upside down guy is doing there^^

about maho; it seems like maho is a made ai (in the anime and only the anime 1-26) but other seems to think it's a character played by humans.

and Aura........did you really see the anime??? I think its all about Tsukasa and Aura........

So my advise to you would be go get the some good subs or buy the anime from usa bandai if you want to understand it better and get a better experience out of the anime^^

I'm talking from experience cuz I never played the games or haven't sen liminality of episode 27-28 even though I got them on HD^^ but I still understand The World and how its put together^^

uhm I dont really think you can understand morganna, aura and harold with SIGN alone. Same goes for data bugs, net slum and those failed AIs ;)

If you want than I can tell what I undestand about them soo far but I think it would ruin the show for others^^ but I think it good enough....ofcourse I can possibly understand the bigger role for those ppl cuz they goes bigger and bigger the more you hear about them in liminalty and the games. Thats how everything is^^

But there is a lot of hints telling in the anime what those and who those ppl are^^especielly in those diskussion episodes where they use 10 minuts to talk about the info they got from Helba dn on bbs and others from other places^^
