Shiro's fantastic...erm, average art!!!

Just thought I'd try and get some of my work up online... I'm trying to create my .hack heavy blade persona, but here's one of me as a Yugioh duellist I did a little while ago in pencils (the shading came out a bit dark on the scanner and I'm too lazy to fix it...)

wow your really good! i can never get the colours right anyway so i just leave them b+w!

I was quite impressed that it did the colour that well - it was coloured in pencil crayon, and the paper was crinkly...

But the next one will be computer coloured if I get the chance.

Nice work Shiro, even with the scanner problems lol. I agree with Sakuya though - I find it much easier to leave my pics in black and white.

don't worry shiro i have trouble with that as well. you just need to draw out the basic shapes and then build detail on them.

dont get me wrong shiro,,,you may be better than me!but your poses and facial expressions need work...the great thing is, YOU RECOGNISED THAT! thats a show of skill my freind;)

My facial expressions are usually OK, but I think this went wrong because of the 3/4 angle and the small size of the head...

I did some Pokemon style sketches about a year ago that I think I might scan in for your viewing pleasure...

Well... it's about time someone grabbed this topic by the seat of the pants and dragged it straight back to where it's meant to be... and I think posting some more of my art would be a good way to do it.... (or should that be 'hope'...)

Well, because I don't know the exchange rates, I can't tell you the price and I'm not sure what brands you all have available but I have a Lexmark X6170. Does everything, fax, print, copy, scan. All the kinds of things I don't need, but have!:p Quality scanning too might I add! Machine works well, better than my comp as a matter of fact!:D :p

I have a printer, scanner, photocopier (dunno about fax :p) but no idea how much it is as I didn't buy it :p I'd image you can get one for about £100, what the quality would be like though I dunno
