Hi, i recently bought the hack sign 6 disk boxset (great isnt it?)... anyway, just wondered if any of you's knew where the best place to get the other .hack series sets would be. I've tried ebay and places like that.. but items there look mainly bootleg and shit like that. Any Ideas?:)

Just go to your local highstreet, and go in any shop that sells dvds, look for an anime or world cinema section, lots of places stock .hack and other animes :) Hope that helps

My highstreet shops dont seem to stock a lot of anime stuff (for reasons i dont know, its very popular nowadays)... Ill try amazon though, they seem to have quite a lot of stuff there. By the way, is there an sequence in which i should be watching? I've started with hack sign, what series should be the next step? (if it matters)

Well Ive never played the games so heres my thoughts...

Games frist

the anime in the games - just at a guess

//Twilight of the Bracelet - comes a few years after the games

//Sign - there are parts where they talk about it happening ages ago etc. else its seperate.. [0.o]

I watched a bit of Twilight of the Bracelet first, switched to and finished //Sign and now back to the start of //Twilight :) Maybe Im messing it up if I included the games.. hmm

Some may be, but the majority of 'dodgy' looking (cos of the cheap prices for all eps of a series on 3 discs or something) are legit - they are often the Hong Kong release, which have all the eps with English + Japanese voiceover, but pratically no extras. Thats the only thing that is really missing from the release of them in 'the west', ie. Europe and the US. I've ordered them before myself, and can recommend them, theres no strings attach and are very good in my experience :) Just the shipping time from Hong Kong, etc. can be a wait sometimes lol

Yeah, they are the only 3 .hack manga's - but that site has them listed wrong, they aren't //Sign, they're called //Legend of the Twilight Bracelet :)

hum k.. would be good if there was a boxset of them out, instead of just having to buy 3 individual volumes.

Hack SIGN 1 to 5 is out in UK at the moment

Hack SIGN 1 to 6 is out in USA at the moment *(the US only hasd 6)

UK 6 comes out 7th Feb
UK 7 comes out 28th Feb

Number 7 contains the bonus episodes US 6 didnt have UNLESS you bought the SPecial Edition version

Number 7 also comes in an Artbox version containing a Mimiru Figure and a Mousemat as well as the DVD and a Collectors Box
this is release 28th Feb (same as normal 7)

6 costs £19.99
7 costs £19.99
7 Artbox cost £34.99

Also Beez Entertainment have anounced Legend of the Twilight Braclet or DUSK WILL be released, depending on sales of SIGN depends how soon, but expect late 2005 to early 2006

If you don't have a multi-region DVD player, be sure to order the zero region discs!

American is Region 1
UK is Region 2

Region 0 Disks are only subtitles
your PS2, XBox, PC and Normal DVD Players are Region 2 from UK so get the Region 2 series with Bonus' English, and Optional Japanese w/ Subtitles
