where can i get wood sap

hi im new i only got the game yersterday and i hered wood sap is good for the boss in the dungon where you have to go on your own please tell me where to get som im level 8-9 is that a good level to go to the dungon??

I think you mean holy sap. Basically go to an area where the element is wood, then go to that dungeon and smash crates, barrels and skeletons to get them.

If its the place that Mia lures you into, then yes holy sap is good against this boss as he is an earth element enemy, and don't worry loads of people have trouble with this boss, i died from it first time then i leveled up a bit.

Holy sap is an item which you use on yourself to increase your wood element so you do more damage with wood elemental attacks. You should buy some green gale scrolls as they are wood element spells. You can use your fire scrolls, but they won't be any stronger than normal.

I would use wood-element attacks, since it is the counter-element to earth. The boss is earth element so you've got the chance to do an element-critical (which will increase the damage of the attack) if you use wood based attacks.
I would recommend using Green Gale, too. green gale will hit the enemy multiple times so you've got the chance to do many element-criticals in one attack.

Maybe it'll help you if I list the elements and their counterelements:

earth <-> wood
water <-> fire
thunder <-> darkness
