  • Jim Wilson

    Director and CEO

    Jim Wilson joined Atari, Inc. in the US in 2008 as Chief Executive Officer of Atari Inc. and has led operational and digital transformation of global Atari business, delivering renewed profitability and positioned the US company as the growth engine for its French parent.  Key accomplishments include revitalizing and commercializing the Atari brand and other key franchises across key business segments, including mobile and digital games, consumer products and media.   In 2010, he was asked to add responsibilities at the parent company level in France where he focused restructuring of the parent company and on maximizing the value of non-core and non-performing assets, including the sale of Cryptic Studios to Perfect World in China and the sale of the GameOne television network to Viacom.  He also was key in settling legacy litigation, contractual, entity and employment issues at the parent level in France, UK, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.   With the recently announced recapitalization of the French parent company with new investors, Mr. Wilson has put his focus back on In his US role of the running the day to business of Atari and continues to focus on the development and execution of the strategic objectives and profitability goals.

    Prior to Atari Mr. Wilson had gathered more than 15 years of executive management experience with video game and entertainment companies, including Vivendi Universal Games, Universal Interactive Studios, and Sony Wonder/Sony BMG.  He is a graduate of Loyola College and Harvard Business School. 

  • Eugene Davis

    Director

    Eugene I. Davis, age 58, has served as one of our directors since November, 2011. Since 1999, Mr. Davis is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PIRINATE Consulting Group, LLC, a privately held consulting firm specializing in turnaround management, merger and acquisition consulting and hostile and friendly takeovers, proxy contests and strategic planning advisory services for domestic and international public and private business entities. Since forming PIRINATE in 1997, Mr. Davis has advised, managed, sold, liquidated and served as a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, Director, Committee Chairman and Chairman of the Board of a number of businesses operating in diverse sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing, high-technology, medical technologies, metals, energy, financial services, consumer products and services, import-export, mining and transportation and logistics. Previously, Mr. Davis served as President, Vice Chairman and Director of Emerson Radio Corporation and Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Sport Supply Group, Inc. He began his career as an attorney and international negotiator with Exxon Corporation and Standard Oil Company (Indiana) and as a partner in two Texas-based law firms, where he specialized in corporate/securities law, international transactions and restructuring advisory. Mr. Davis holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College, a master of international affairs degree (MIA) in international law and organization from the School of International Affairs of Columbia University, and a Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law.   Mr. Davis’ broad experience as a director of other public companies, including other consumer products companies, and his qualification as an “audit committee financial expert,” led the Board of Directors to conclude that he should be a member of the Board of Directors

    Mr. Davis is also a director of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc., Global Power Equipment Group Inc.,  Spectrum Brands, Inc., WMI Holdings Corp., and U.S. Concrete, Inc. He is also a director of Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. and Lumenis Ltd., whose common stock is registered under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 but does not publicly trade. During the past five years, Mr. Davis has also been a director of Ambassadors International, Inc., American Commercial Lines Inc., Delta Airlines, Foamex International Inc., Dex One Corp., Footstar, Inc., Granite Broadcasting Corporation, GSI Group, Inc., Ion Media Networks, Inc., Knology, Inc., Media General, Inc., Mosaid Technologies, Inc., Ogelbay Norton 

     

  • Erick Euvrard

    Director of Atari, Inc.

    Erik Euvrard, is a graduate from "Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales" (ESSEC - 86). He worked nine years for the Corporate Recovery Services division of Arthur Andersen in Paris. Then he headed the turnaround of a clothing industry group as a CEO, before performing a leveraged buyout of a retail company. Since then he manages Quadrature a consulting firm offering professional services for restructuring and turnaround situations or acquisitions.
